Creates a new empty plot to insert items using the dialog Items.
Opens an existing plot file.
In a plot file all settings of a graphical presentation are stored in ASCII format.
In case of activated setting Autoplot the graphical presentation is displayed immediately.

The numeric values have to be arranged in rows and colums in an ASCII file. Within a row the values may be separated by commas, tabs, or spaces.

Loading of data files overwrites an eventually displayed presentation. When a data file is to be inserted in an existing graphical presentation, this has to be done by creating a new item using the Edit menu.

In comparison with the output obtained with Print and Print to File, these files (created with functions of the library pslib) may be edited easily. For example, the coordinates of data points are stored without scaling, according to the values from data files or function evaluations.
Prints the graphical presentation to a printer chosen from a list or to a file.
Opens a new instance of kpl.
Close the window. If the closed window was the last instance open, kpl will exit.
Exits kpl.
Opens the dialog Items, where items of the presentation may be added, edited, deleted, and copied. Also parameter fits of functions to data sets can be performed here.
Increases the magnification by 20 %:

Here the magnification factor of the graphical presentation can be set.
By this the current data or plot file will be reloaded and presented. Autoplot will be activated.
Here periodically refreshing of the presentation of plot or data files may be activated. Also the time interval may be set. Autoplot will be activated by refreshing.
Display of the tool bar is toggled.
Display of the status bar is toggled.
Here the display of the functions source files in the dialogs for function parameters is toggled.
Here the automatic display of the presentation after loading of data or plot files is toggled.
Here the calculation of the bounding box for generated PostSscript files is toggled. The calculation needs GhostScript to be installed. Without calculation the bounding box is set according to the format in the Basic Settings dialog.
Here the display of warnings at unsaved changes is toggled.
Here the saving of the current window size, the Basic Settings, and the Autoplot Settings at the program's ending is toggled.
This setting itself also will be saved.
Opens the dialog Configure key bindings, where the shortcuts for the Reload action and the various Scroll actions may be changed.
Opens the dialog Basic Settings, where the size of the presentation and the colors may be preset.
Opens the dialog Autoplot Settings, where the settings for the automatic scaling of data files loaded by command line parameter, by the file menu, or by drag and drop, are done.
Opens the dialog Autofit Settings, where the settings for the automatic parameter fittings of functions to data sets from files are performed.
Here the current window size, the Basic Settings, the Autoplot Settings, and the Autofit Settings are saved.
